The New York Times, London

Case Studies

Having outgrown their current office, New York Times relocated some teams to an additional office at 8 Bloomsbury.

The design created by GTA Interiors followed the client brief of moving away from a corporate style workplace and introducing softer, more domestic finishes. A simple yet refined colour palette of soft greys and wood finishes is accented with elements in blue, inspired by the iron balustrades of an adjacent 1950s building seen from the windows.

A pair of Circe sofas furnish the ‘Court Yard’ area, separated from the open plan desking by bespoke grid planters, creating an inviting and comfortable breakout and casual meeting space at the heart of the scheme.
